This policy applies to personal data collected through this Website. It does not cover data processed offline, or data collected through the RespiCOz mobile application, which is governed by [its own privacy policy / the app’s privacy notice]. By using this Website, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the data we need to respond to you, fulfil orders, and improve the Website:

  • Information you give us directly — your name, designation, institution, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, GSTIN or registration number, and the content of enquiries you send us via forms, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Order and payment information — order details and invoicing information. Payments are processed by our payment gateway Razorpay; we do not collect or store your full card or bank credentials.
  • Newsletter data — the email address you provide if you subscribe to our updates.
  • Technical and usage data — collected automatically through server log files and cookies, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, device information, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. This is used for analytics and site administration and is generally not linked to your identity.

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal or patient health data through this Website. Please do not submit patient-identifiable clinical information through the Website’s contact forms.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
  • process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, and issue GST invoices;
  • administer the 15-Day Clinical Satisfaction Guarantee and any returns or refunds;
  • send you product updates and marketing communications where you have consented, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • operate, secure, analyse, and improve the Website; and
  • comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. Consent and legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you provide when you submit information to us, place an order, or subscribe to communications, and for the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 8); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and some processing may be necessary to complete a transaction you have requested or to meet a legal obligation.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising:

  • Analytics — to understand how visitors use the Website (for example, Google Analytics).
  • Advertising and retargeting — we use advertising tools such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel to measure campaigns and show relevant ads to people who have visited our Website.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the settings of the relevant ad platform. Disabling cookies may affect some Website functionality.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary with:

  • Service providers who act on our behalf — our payment gateway Razorpay, courier and logistics partners (to deliver your order), our website host Cloudflare / hosting provider, and email/analytics providers — under obligations of confidentiality;
  • Regulatory or legal authorities, where required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

7. Data retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including to meet accounting, tax, warranty, and legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erasure — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements;
