About RespiCOz
RespiCOz is a portable mainstream capnograph made by Brainiac Healthcare in Ahmedabad, India. It measures EtCO₂, FiCO₂ and respiratory rate at the patient's airway and streams the live values and waveform to a smartphone over Bluetooth. It is CDSCO approved.
capnometer shows only the CO₂ number. A capnograph also shows the waveform, called the capnogram, which often reveals the cause of a problem before the number changes. RespiCOz is a capnograph. It shows the number, the waveform and the trend together.
Anaesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency physicians and ambulance teams monitoring patients with a secured airway, such as an endotracheal tube or supraglottic device. It is used in operation theatres, ICUs, emergency departments and during patient transport.
RespiCOz is time-based capnography. It plots CO₂ against time. Volumetric capnography plots CO₂ against exhaled volume and needs a separate flow sensor.
It uses a mainstream NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) sensor that sits directly on the airway adapter. There is no sampling line, no water trap and no pump, so readings are fast and there is nothing to block with moisture or secretions.
Accuracy and specifications
EtCO₂ accuracy is ±2 mmHg and respiratory rate accuracy is ±1 breath per minute.
EtCO₂ (end-tidal CO₂), FiCO₂ (inspired CO₂), respiratory rate, the live capnography waveform and the trend. FiCO₂ helps detect rebreathing, for example from exhausted soda lime or a faulty valve.

Yes. You set upper and lower limits for EtCO₂, FiCO₂ and respiratory rate, and the app alerts you when a value crosses them. It also alarms when no breath is detected.

Buying, warranty and support
The MRP of the RespiCOz kit is ₹89,990 including 5% GST. Hospitals and institutions can request a formal quotation.

Use RespiCOz on your own patients for 15 days. If it is not right for your practice, tell us. We collect it at our cost and refund you in full. It applies to your first unit bought directly at full price. Accuracy and performance are covered separately by the specifications and warranty.

24x7 on-call support, with free pick-up and drop for repairs during the warranty period. Service contracts (AMC and CMC) are available after the warranty ends.
