RespiCOz Return Policy & 15-Day Clinical Satisfaction Guarantee
Please read this RespiCOz return policy before you purchase. These terms form part of your purchase agreement with Brainiac Healthcare.

Buy RespiCOz. Use it in your own OT, ICU, or transport setting, on your own patients. If within 15 days of delivery you decide it is not right for your practice, tell us and we will collect it — at our cost — and refund you in full.
Below are the exact terms, in plain language, so you know precisely what you are agreeing to.
About this return policy
This RespiCOz return policy exists to remove the risk from your purchase decision. You do not have to take our word for how the device performs — you get to use it yourself, first.
What the guarantee means. The 15-Day Clinical Satisfaction Guarantee is your satisfaction with using RespiCOz in your own clinical practice. It is a commercial right to return the device for a refund.
What it does not mean. It is not a guarantee of diagnostic accuracy, measurement performance, or any clinical outcome. The performance of the device is defined by its published specifications and covered by its manufacturer’s warranty — not by this return right. This distinction matters, and we state it plainly rather than blur it.
Who this applies to
- The first RespiCOz unit purchased directly from Brainiac Healthcare by an institution or an individual clinician within India.
- One guarantee per institution in any 12-month period, linked to the device serial number and your institution’s GSTIN or registration number.
It does not apply to:
- Stock purchases by distributors, dealers, or resellers.
- Second or subsequent units purchased by the same institution (these are final sale).
- Consumables, accessories, and spares purchased separately.
- Export and international orders.
- Tender and rate-contract supplies, unless the tender expressly includes this guarantee.
How the 15 days work
- You pay in full and we ship the device to you. There is no free-loan or consignment arrangement — you own the device from the moment of purchase.
- Your 15 days begin on the delivery date recorded on the courier’s proof of delivery. Not the order date, not the invoice date — the day it reaches you.
- Our clinical team calls you within 24 hours of delivery and walks you through setup on a short video or phone call: sensor and airway adapter fitting, app pairing, and your first live EtCO₂ trace. Our aim is that you are running a real capnography waveform on your first day, not your last.
- Use it as you normally would. We will remind you before your window closes, so it is never missed by accident.
- Decide by Day 15. Keep it, or tell us you would like to return it.
How to return it
- Tell us on or before Day 15. A message on WhatsApp, email, or phone is enough to start the return — we will confirm and send you a short return form.
- Clean and disinfect the device in line with the Instructions for Use, and sign the brief decontamination declaration we send you. Because RespiCOz is a medical device used on patients, we cannot arrange collection without this — it protects our staff and our couriers.
- We arrange and pay for the pickup. You do not organise a courier and you do not pay return freight.
- Return the device complete — device, charging cable, adapter, carry case, and all supplied accessories.
Your refund
Your refund follows a clear, defined sequence, so there is no ambiguity about timing:
- We receive the device back at our facility.
- We inspect it for physical damage and functionality. This is a standard goods-in check to confirm the device has been returned complete and in usable condition.
- On approval, we initiate your refund within 3–4 working days.
Please note: the refund is initiated after the returned device has been received and has passed inspection at our facility — not at the point you request the return.
Other terms:
- The refund is 100% of the device invoice value, made to your original payment method.
- The guarantee applies only to devices purchased by direct full payment. Devices bought on EMI, credit-card instalments, or a loan are not covered (see What is not covered below).
- A GST credit note is issued against your original tax invoice.
- The starter consumables kit is yours to keep — it is never deducted from your refund.
We pay both the outbound and the return shipping. There is no restocking fee for a device returned in usable condition.
Condition of the returned device
We expect a device that has been used. Normal clinical wear is exactly what a real trial looks like, and it is never charged for.
A deduction from the refund applies only in these limited cases:
- A missing accessory (cable, adapter, or case) — charged at the listed spare price.
- Damage beyond fair clinical use — assessed case by case.
The device is not eligible for refund under this policy if it has been physically damaged, submerged, opened, tampered with, or if its serial label has been removed or defaced. Faults and defects of this kind are handled under the manufacturer’s warranty instead (see below), not under this return right.
What is not covered
- Requests made after Day 15. The window is generous, and we remind you before it closes — but it is not extendable.
- Devices purchased on EMI, credit-card instalments, a loan, or any third-party financing. This guarantee applies only to devices bought by direct full payment. A financed purchase cannot be cleanly reversed within the return window — the payment sits with a bank or financier, and unwinding it involves foreclosure charges, accrued interest, and processing terms outside our control. To keep the refund clean and immediate, the guarantee is limited to directly-paid purchases.
- Consumables and accessories purchased separately.
- Second or subsequent units.
- Distributor and reseller stock purchases.
Warranty (separate from this guarantee)
RespiCOz carries a manufacturer’s warranty of 1 year warranty and 2-year replacement warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty and this 15-Day Clinical Satisfaction Guarantee are two different things:
- The guarantee is a short-term right to return the device if it does not suit your practice.
- The warranty is a longer-term commitment to repair or replace a device that develops a defect.
If a return during the 15-day window is due to a suspected device fault or a performance concern, please tell us specifically — we treat that as a product report, log it, and route it to our quality team in addition to processing your return.
If you purchased through a channel partner
If an authorised Brainiac Healthcare partner invoiced you, the 15-Day Clinical Satisfaction Guarantee still applies to your first unit. Raise the return with your partner within the same 15-day window, and they will coordinate the collection and refund with us.
Frequently asked questions
When do my 15 days start? On the day the device is delivered to you, as recorded by the courier — not the day you ordered or paid.
Do I pay to send it back? No. If you choose to return the device, we arrange and pay for the pickup.
Do I get all my money back? Yes — 100% of the device invoice value, provided the device is returned complete and in usable condition. You also keep the starter consumables kit.
When is my refund processed? Your refund is initiated after the device is received at our facility and inspected for damage and functionality. Once that check is approved, we initiate the refund within 3–4 working days.
Does the guarantee apply if I buy on EMI or a loan? No. This guarantee covers devices bought by direct full payment only. A purchase made on EMI, credit-card instalments, or financing cannot be cleanly reversed within the return window, so it falls outside this policy.
Can I keep it past 15 days to decide? The window is fixed at 15 days from delivery. We remind you before it closes so the decision is never missed by accident.
Is my satisfaction with the readings guaranteed? This guarantee covers your satisfaction with using RespiCOz in your practice. The accuracy and performance of the device are defined by its specifications and covered by the warranty, not by this return policy.

General terms
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Brainiac Healthcare may update this policy from time to time; the version in effect on your date of purchase applies to your order. Where a specific figure above is shown in brackets, the value confirmed on your invoice and order documentation prevails.
