We started with one question. What if a capnograph could reach the most remote village in India?
Niti Aayog’s Frontier Tech platform just told the story of what happened next.
It is a story about a small sensor, a smartphone, and an idea that respiratory monitoring should not cost a fortune to reach the hospitals that need it most. The numbers in the feature surprised even us.
More than 10,000 patients, so far. At around half the cost of a conventional monitor.
We will not retell the whole thing here, because it is worth reading where it was published, on the Government of India’s own innovation platform.
